Consent Agenda

10.a.

Community Uni’ Forum, a forum to connect as a family hosted by the City of Panama City CRA Department Tuesday August 9 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the AD Harris cafeteria at 819 E. 11th Street, Panama City FL 32401. Activities for children will be provided by the City of Panama City Quality of Life Department.

10.b.

Oktoberfest – Tasting Event on September 23, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This is the second annual Oktoberfest Craft Beer Tasting that kicks off Oktoberfest weekend in Downtown Panama City. The event will be located at Destination Panama City.

10.c.

Hispanic Heritage Fest, October 8, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Carl Gray Park. This is our 2nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival. This year we are expanding to include more community vendors, food trucks, dance, music, and entertainment. Last year, there were around 2,000 attendees. Carl Gray Park is being used to facilitate this Bay front site in partnership with our local colleges and additional community organizations.

Panama City Songwriters Festival. The Annual Panama City Songwriters Festival is a multi-venue, live, listening event that will be held downtown Panama City on November 4, 2022 from 4:45 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Local and National Songwriters are curated by the Bay Youth Music Association to provide a talent showcase of the singer/songwriter genre.

Annual Veterans Day Parade on November 11, 2022 from 9:00 a.m.– 10:30 a.m. The parade will begin at Oakland Terrace Elementary, move south on Frankford Ave., then east on 11th St. to the County Government Office Building.

Bay Pride Festival 2023 at McKenzie Park on June 10, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. Festival will include music, food, arts, crafts, and beer tent. Street closures: Park Ave. from Oak Ave. to 3rd Ct., 3rd Ct. from Park Ave. to Luverne Ave.
