On Tuesday, January 16th and Wednesday, January 17th, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be doing work on 23rd Street near Temporary U.S. 98 that will require intermittent road closures between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Crews will be placing overhead steel tub girders as part of the 23rd Street Flyover project.
Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes during these times. Traffic control officers, signs, and variable message boards will be on site to direct traffic.
Transportation officials said all planned construction activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
