A developer is trying to replace the Panama City Marina with a multi-million dollar complex (hotels/restaurants/etc.). The only public marina which provides Covered Boat Slips, Fishing Supplies, Easy Gulf Access, and excellent public fishing access to the Bay is in jeopardy. The wonderful staff at the Marina will likely be laid off once this happens. The only way we can stop this is for the citizens of Panama City to unite in opposition to this and reach out to our City Council Representatives.

I suggest Panama use Beach Spotter's during Spring Breaks like
the Weather Fort Caster's use storm spotter's to phone in sightings of storm cell's or tornado's or funnel clouds . There is no better way than to have boots on the sands of Panama City Beaches whom can rapid phone in sightings of trouble or trouble area's then law enforcement can respond quickly to those hot spot area's . It would also help to build state of the art police command centers near the beaches with live video feeds linking them to each command center with a video center where trained staff monitor the video's as well like Casino's do. Panama can not afford to forego and not implement these safety measures if they in truth wish to stop
such felony gang rapes and felony crimes along their beaches.
When I heard of the arrest of Davon Kennedy and he attends college at Middle TN University I cried last night and thanked God he did not rape or hurt Ashley Todd AkA Pink Angel Murfreesboro , TN

The Bible has many passages relating to God's creatures--perhaps local church leaders could encourage their "flock" to remember their God created cats. A house used as a business was demolished many months ago and we were told the city purchased the property. It is way overgrown and unkempt, trash in the tall weeds, signs nailed on the trees,

I would like to do a benefit run for Lymphoma. I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma 5 months ago and treatments are not cheap. I can no longer afford my treatment and I thought a benefit run would be perfect. This is something I would like to do annually. It'll be a 30$ sign up fee. With the first male and first female crossing the finish line getting a free 30 minute session with Becky Hope Photography (look her up on FB she is awesome) and everyone who signs up will receive a STAY+ Lymphoma awareness T- Shirt.

The city is really lacking in sports leagues. I recommend starting up an adult sports league (flag football, softball, basketball, etc...).

I live here and noticed that the volleyball courts have been vacant all summer. The space would be better utilized as a basketball court.There is a lack of public basketball courts in Panama City. I believe the community both young and old, male and female will benefit from this. It will reduce crime, drug use, and can be used to build bonds and friendships in the community that could last a lifetime.

Instead of building a development to attract people who will never stay here since the Marina is not large enough to accomodate, why not just make it better for the citizens who still live at the Marina, the locals, and the visitors. A nice park with picnic tables and a playground with fountains of water for a splash area would be a nice addition to the newly renovated Marina. Maybe throw in a classy coffee and icecream shop. Keep it simple but unique.

Make Jenks ave one way and harrison ave one way the other way, it would help move the traffic north/south with out spending a ton of money widening or renewing them

Any leaks leave a rust crust. I've experienced two floods in my own apartment and the complete trashing of the laundry room. They have not held to their monthly extermination that they state in the lease. I've lived here four years, and I've brought these concerns to the management, who stated that I should just report it if I have a problem. My idea is to keep a close eye on the keeping up of codes by Pelican Bay Apartment.
