There isn't even a sign on corner of biltmore and lagoon way. Lets cut down on crime and limit the number of rentals in our housing neighborhoods. Let's have more street lighting.

The lines on the side of State ave. that separate pedestrian traffic from vehicle traffic is faded to non-existence. The first time I noticed is when I moved here 2 years ago on my way home and there was a wheel chair bound person swinging a cane at every car. Honestly I thought they were just angry, but since this my wife and I have ran the section between 23rd and Baldwin. We too have to fight cars off of the formerly marked section. Please consider repainting these white lines, it affects many.

The intersection of 26th street and 389 (and 39th st.) has become dangerous. Accidents are constantly happening every week, honestly adding to the congestion and then even more accidents. Several still developing neighborhoods are affected (Cameron's crossing.... The Pines) as this is there only option for an exit. 26th street has become a main drag into Panama city from Lynn Haven ,then add the element of Bay Haven Charter academy traffic backing up for miles only adds to the danger level. Lynn Haven has recognized their end of 26th street with added officers and a digital speed monitor, now if only Panama City would make their end safe. Please consider making these streets safer.

I have lived on the 1200 block side of Calhoun Avenue off 15th street for going on 5 years now & during this time no one and I do mean NO ONE on my street obeys the speed limit that’s posted. I have asked the community to place speed humps around the 1200 block of Calhoun Avenue but of course since they all speed I’m sure they’d decline the implementation of speed humps. While this may seem silly to some; it isn’t for me as I have a four year old and two year old that love to play, when I do projects outside in the front yard I should not have to fear of neither them nor I being struck by a vehicle going over the posted 25 mph speed limit, there are times when people do as high as 50 mph. I furthmore believe it will decrease people running stop signs in & around the 3 block radius if they are implemented. The safety of my children & the other little ones on my street mean more to me than someone getting to speed down a residential road.

I live on Grace Ave between Harrison and Jenks and have complained numerous times of officers and regular traffic driving at excessive speeding a residential area. Law enforcement do not see the need to use emergency lights or sirens when using excessive speeds and refuse to respond to any requests to speak with supervisory personnel. Today a man was ran over and killed by an officer 3 blocks from my home. They are now endangering public safety to excessively speed across a 2 block span where children play in the street.
