Our town has the potential to be so beautiful, unfortunately it seems noone is on the same page. I think if there was a landscaping code in Panama City it would help the overall look of the town. Doesn't it amazing any of you driving 30 minutes down the road and ending up in Rosemary Beach where everything looks pristine, then you take a stroll down front Beach or Thomas Drive and everything looks like slobs live up and down every street on the beach. Traveling to different towns is really made me realize how much tourist appreciate the overall landscape of a town. We have so much that we could work with if everyone was in charge of their own property, and everyone had to meet the same qualifications it would clean this place up tremendously. Or hire somebody at least to clean up North Lagoon and Thomas Drive. And for gods sake somebody tear down Buckalew's when is that establishment ever going to be used again, it looks like a haunted house and definitely not attractive

The kids in the Glenwood Community need somewhere to go! Many in the area do not have cars to travel outside of their home area. WE NEED to support our kids and keep them safe!

It was brought to my attention that a new or emergency pit has been authorized for use at a much higher rate than the existing pits that are currently not being used? The current pits have been DEP approved for decades, storm water run off requirements met, located closer than new pit (cutting fuel costs & seriously decreasing traffic issues) plus continuing to keep local companies in business. By utilizing the current pits @ $1.20/yard + 10,000 yards per truck times the number of trucks per day, Do you see how clear it is to save taxpayers millions? Not to mention the traffic issues everyone is currently dealing with. Now add up the tonnage. There is the opportunity to save over $25 million dollars without applying for any loans.
