The City of Panama City’s Purchasing Division is accountable for the City's centralized procurement process that standardizes sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationships to achieve economy of scale benefits and ensures an open, fair, and competitive procurement process.
The Purchasing Division assists the City’s departments to acquire goods and services as efficiently and as inexpensively as possible to support the community it serves. Our goal is to ensure that Panama City taxpayers receive the maximum value for every expenditure and that all expenditures are conducted in a manner that preserves the public trust.
