In accordance with the City of Panama City Municipal Code 17-8, applications for an outdoor special events permit, for the safety and well-being of participants and the public, the City of Panama City requires submission of a Special Event Application along with a to-scale site plan for both City-owned property events and non-City owned property events.

The cover letter will give you tips on how to get answers to any questions you may have. Remember, completed applications must be submitted no later than 60 days before your event. An application is not considered complete until it is accepted by the Special Events coordinator via digital signature.
If an unauthorized Special Event occurs in the City of Panama City, the City Manager or designee has the authority to cancel and suspend it.
